Classic editor shows all wpbakery shortcodes but then I try to switch to backend editor (wpbakery) it appears to be empty. I think your provided wpbakery version is outdated. Wordpress version 5.2.3. Please send me newest wpbakery version. Thank you
Please make you have disabled Gutenberg editor from WPBakery Page Builder > Settings. If that does not solve the issue then please provide us your WP login details (by replying privately) and we will take a closer look at that.
Updating WPBakery Page Builder to the latest version fixed the issue. Everything seems to be working fine now. Also, we deactivated 'Disable Gutenberg' plugin because there is no need to use it.
